UPCOMING EVENTS/SCHOOL NEWS

THE READATHON IS HERE, THE READATHON IS HERE, THE READATHON IS HERE, THE READATHON IS HERE!

Next Wednesday the 4th of February is half way-day. We ask that each student bring a book or 2 that they would like to exchange. The teacher will collect the books and facilitate the exchange during the school day. Students will come home with the same number of books that they brought in to exchange. We want to encourage the students to keep reading by providing an economical, environmentally friendly option for getting new books to carry them through the Read-A-Thon.

SCHOOL TOURS - Tours are held every Wednesday at Dowling. We will meet at 9:00 AM in the canopy foyer, this is the entrance off of the parking lot. Our tours are group tours, giving you a chance to tour the entire school. We will be stopping in our auditorium, art, music and media rooms, the gym, the lunchroom and the pool if possible. We will also visit each kindergarten classroom giving you a chance to speak with each teacher for a few minutes. You will get time at the end of the tour to meet principal Rossow and ask questions. This tour will give you all of the general information about what our school has to offer, if you are looking for an upper grade, you are welcome to join us. We try to keep all tours under an hour, if you are part of a very large group it may take longer.
