I began my teaching career with the Minneapolis Public School in 1987. I have taught 2nd grade at Dowling School since 2004. I received my teaching degree from St. Catherine's College in St. Paul in 1984 and my Masters of Education Degree form the University of Minnesota . Throughout my teaching career I have taught grades one through five. I have enjoyed working with kids of all ages. I especially love teaching second grade because the students are very eager and excited about learning.
Teaching at Dowling school is a great fit for me. I embrace the diversity of the students, the feeling of parental support , and the environmental focus. In my classroom I strive to  create a strong feeling of caring and support for all student. The students and I work together as a  supportive learning team  to help each other be the best we can be.
