I have been a Special Education Assistant (SEA) at Dowling since 2000.  I have three daughters who all attended Dowling, the oldest beginning in 1988 and the youngest finishing in 2001.

I completed the district 80 hour training for SEAs in autumn 2000. 

I have two undergraduate degrees, in Psychology from Ohio University (1976) and in Nursing from University of Minnesota (1982).  I maintain my Registered Nurse (RN) license with the state of Minnesota.

I currently work throughout the building, assisting in each DCD (Developmentally Cognitively Disabled) classroom as needed.  I like the variety and the opportunity to become acquainted with all the students in the DCD program here at Dowling.

In my 10+ years at Dowling I have always enjoyed the challenge of helping students with disabilities learn the most they are able during their time at Dowling.  I encourage children to work hard, but try to make sure we all have some fun at the same time.
