I have taught in the Minneapolis School District for over 22 years. I have been at Dowling for 20 of those years. I have taught grades K-3. However, I have been a first grade teacher the longest. I always look forward to the excitement of teaching first grade. It is a year of wondrous growth.

I received my Elementary Education degree from Augsburg College. I did graduate work at the University of Minnesota.

My teaching philosophy involves utilizing differentiated learning experiences to guide students toward achievement. Most importantly, I hope to create a classroom where students feel encouraged and have fun learning.
