Jean Kochevar-Title 1 Support
Hello Families and Students,
What an interesting time we are in! I would like to introduce you to my " chalkboard" away from school. Each week I will be posting a new activity for you to do which will focus on reading, writing, and speaking with family members. For those activities with writing, you may share with someone at home, or email them to me at I would love to read them.
The best way to reach me is through email.
Be safe and I miss you all,
Miss Kochevar

I began my teaching career with the Minneapolis Public School in 1987. I have taught 2nd grade at Dowling School since 2004 and I am fortunate to take this experience into my new position as Title One teacher.  I received my teaching degree from St. Catherine's College in 1984 and my Masters of Education Degree from the University of Minnesota. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught grades one through five. I have enjoyed working with kids of all ages.
Teaching at Dowling school is a great fit for me. I embrace the diversity of the students, the feeling of parental support, and the environmental focus. In my classroom, I strive to create a strong feeling of caring and support for all students. The students and I work together as a  supportive learning team to help each other be the best we can be.
