COMMUNITY EDUCATION AT DOWLING

Welcome back from Winter Break! Community Education is excited to be back and offering up an amazing slate of live virtual after school classes – everything from Kendama, Theater, Dungeons and Dragons to Cooking, Crochet and more. There is something for everyone after school!

The winter session of Community Education will run from January 19 to February 25 with classes starting at 3:00 and 4:15 each day, Monday through Thursday.  We have flexible payment options this year so choose the best option for your family.

Click Here for class schedules and descriptions. Registration is now open!  Register by January 13 to make sure your child gets their favorite class.

Looking for something to do that doesn’t involve screen time?  We’ve got you covered! Check out our monthly take home activity kits for the entire family. Examples of activity kits include: Celebrating Black History Month, Fidgets, Crystal Science, Mardi Gras, Pen Pal Program and String Art.

Classes are first-come, first-serve. We understand families may currently be experiencing financial hardships and want to ensure that everyone who wants to participate is able to do so. Our new sliding pay scale will allow families to choose a fee they are comfortable paying. Fees are used to pay teachers, provide supplies and support programs. We will continue to offer scholarships as well for those families that qualify for free and reduced lunch.  No student will be turned away for inability to pay.

Refunds, minus a $5 processing fee, will be issued when requested at least three business days before the class starts. Full refunds will be issued if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment.
